Effective Time Management – Sanskriti School September 2012

Under Sanskriti’s initiative of Professional Development, a workshop on Effective Time Management was organized on 13 September 2012. The resource person for the workshop was Ms. Vatsala Shukla, who is a former Chartered Accountant and is currently managing her own coaching, mentoring and guidance firm for corporate training. The workshop was held in the Resource Room of Sanskriti School and was attended by 30 Staff members across faculty and administrative staff.

This workshop covered a variety of topics like assessing the tasks we do, differentiating between maintenance and transforming activities, identifying our time bandits and assessing which of these bandits we have direct or indirect control over. It also dealt with how to set SMART goals, how to tackle procrastination and how to improve time management through delegation, organization, dealing with clutter etc.

The workshop was made all the more interesting because of the games and interactive activities that were used to get these points across. Everyone left the workshop feeling that they had gained something meaningful and effective.
